Home is where the heart is... but the kitchen is where the stomach will be.

So many things went on here over the years.  First was painting everything white and cleaning.  Bought and installed appliances and added lighting.  Since there was no room for a dishwasher, I removed a lower cabinet and added plumbing and a disposal to the sink.  Added a small TV over the breakfast table.  Changed out the cabinet door knobs.  Took the hollow door out to the water heater and replaced it with a vintage door.  Later, we decided to go with avocado green paint on the walls and later the cabinets.  Changed out the water heater tank and closet for a tankless and a pantry.  (We hired pro's to add the tankless water heater.) Added cabinets above the existing ones to fill in the void and give us much more storage, including some cubicles for display.  Raised the counter height 1 1/2". Changed the flooring to tile instead of linoleum.

I have always been good with my hands.  As a kid, with arts & crafts.  As an adult, I learned handyman stuff... and more!

This blog documents some of my work.
